News Paying It Forward in Sandy Creek.

Today, Disaster Tech Lab had the privilege of donating a truck to a local resident of Sandy Creek.
This truck was originally donated to us to support our work, but we quickly realized there were people in the community who needed it even more. With the help of our amazing contact on the ground (thank you, Gabrielle Cathey!), we connected with a family who had lost both their home and their vehicle. On top of that, their vehicle was essential for running their business—so losing it meant losing their source of income too.
After working through the paperwork, Brett met them today at none other than Buc-ee’s (because really, where else? ) and handed over the keys.
We wish the new owners lots of luck, safe travels, and many pleasant drives ahead.
