Communication with crisis-affected populations now included in IASC simulations package

A new training package on emergency simulations developed by the Inter Agency Standing Committee‘s Sub-Working Group (IASC-SWG) on Preparedness has now included communication with crisis-affected populations as a key deliverable, thanks to input from infoasaid.
The new ‘Government Emergency Simulation’ (GES) package is aimed at national governments who wish to conduct simple, low-cost exercises to raise awareness, test systems and procedures, and identify gaps in preparedness measures within their national disaster management plans.
